Endowments
and Foundations
Delta
Capital Management, LLC provides investment management services
designed to help Endowments, Foundations and Health Care Institutions
meet their investment objectives and spending requirements.
Our goal is to provide value-added services by experienced,
dedicated professionals. The causes that endowments and foundations
support are critically important. We understand the challenges
you face in balancing your philanthropic activities with the
conservation of your assets. At Delta Capital Management,
our mission is to help endowments, foundations and other nonprofits
fulfill their missions. We accomplish this by leveraging our
global resources to create specific solutions that meet the
unique needs of endowments and foundations.
The
first step in our relationship is for us to develop a comprehensive
understanding of your organization and its financial objectives,
its timeline and its constraints. We define our relationship
in detailed fashion through our Investment Policy Statement
. Delta is not a multi-national behemoth that only looks
at your dollars as another account. We take the time to meet
with representatives of your organization (e.g. management,
trustees or committees). We ask questions and we listen to
your concerns. Together, we determine the services that best
meet your needs. These may include portfolio consulting (“gate
keeping”), development of investment strategies, active
investment management and performance reporting.
At Delta Capital Management, we take a long-term
view of the financial markets and a highly personalized approach
to designing an investment portfolio that meets your needs.
As well, we offer the flexibility to adapt the investment
portfolio as those needs change. We believe in structuring
a portfolio using diverse asset classes, which helps you to
improve expected returns and reduce risk. Once our asset allocation
strategy is in place, we provide specific investment recommendations
in diverse asset classes utilizing mutual funds, equities,
fixed income and real estate classes. Additionally, depending
on the size your portfolio, as well as your investment objectives
and constraints, it may be suitable to consider or alternative
investments for additional portfolio diversification.
Once we have begun working together, we monitor your portfolio
and provide a regular detailed performance report. As well,
we will be happy to give performance and market reports at
your regular board meeting. Once a year, we will conduct a
formal review of your investment plan and Investment
Policy Statement. We update the plan annually unless there
are significant market or client conditions that warrant a
more frequent review. Additionally, we are also available
to meet with representatives of your organization (e.g. management,
trustees or committee) as requested to review portfolio holdings
and performance. Between meetings, we are available via telephone
or e-mail.
